Icelandic author of 5 children's books and four mysteries for adults, a
series containing the protagonist Thora, a lawyer. The first two books
have been translated into English, Last Ritulas and My Soul to take.
The second and third are undergoing translation.

Last Rituals
 HOw does the present day,
grisly murder of a history student tie into history's darkest hour -
that of the witch hunts? A chilling trip into Iceland's gruesome and
violent history through modern day murder, introducing attorney Thora.

My Soul to Take
 The disappearance of a small
girl in 1945 - the murder of an architect in 2007. Tied together
through a twisted spin of events which must be unearthed by attorney
Thora who must travel to the remote west coast of Iceland where nothing
is what it seems.

Ashes to Dust
In 1973 a volcano erupted on
the small island of Vestmannaeyjar - engulfing the local town in ash
and lava. Now over 35 years later plans to dig up "Pompeii of the
North" are interrupted when one of the houses uncovered is found to
contain more than dust - attorney Thora must dig into the past and open
mended wounds to solve the case.
